Your clipboard history never leaves your Mac. Pastefast stores it locally and sends none of it anywhere. The only network requests the app makes are a daily check for updates on GitHub, which you can turn off in Settings, and loading the small icon of a website you copied from, directly from that website.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. To see how many people visit, it uses Wachturm, our own analytics running on our servers at Hetzner in Germany. For each page view it records the page, the site you came from, and your country, browser, device type and language.
No cookies, no fingerprinting, and no IP addresses are stored. Visitors are counted with a hash of IP address and browser that changes every day, so a visit can't be traced back to you or linked across days. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in anonymous reach measurement (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Downloads come from GitHub, whose own privacy policy applies there.
Responsible for this site and app is Kaiserlich, Julian Kaiser. Details are in the imprint; for your rights under the GDPR, see the full privacy policy.
